“Overall a good experience. We had plenty of time in the water snorkeling. Yes they do push the smaller group VIP but only gently for us. The tequila tasting was fun but we had to wait and then had a very late lunch.”

2-hour snorkel in Puerto Morelos with gear included, a small-group feel, and a guide helping you spot turtles, stingrays, and coral.

“What I liked was that it is a small group -14 people maximum- on the boat, which seems typical for the reef at Puerto Morelos. The staff were also friendly and efficient - they do 4 tours/ day so at their location there is a turn around of people & equipment every 2 hours. Actual time in the water is about an hour. There was minimal information given before heading to the boat - and no safety briefing or attention as to who had experience or not. The reef itself was OK - but is dying like reefs all over the world. We did see a good variety of sea…”

Boat snorkeling in Puerto Morelos with pickup, reef admission, lunch and seaside breakfast, plus optional tequila tasting.

“Nothing special, just a quick run, big chatting regarding the protection of the coral 🪸, , which is fair. You are not allowed to take absolutely nothing with you, no camera, no watershoes, nothing. They will try to sell you the pictures for a exaggerating price, probably same as wedding pictures, If I know before I will never done it. Is someone other snorkeling tours much much better, no rush, plenty of time for swimming, can do your own pictures, not insisting so much of buying them one's if you don't are interested. Next day I actually done a different tour in Cozumel, best snorkeling tour I done it in Mexic.…”

Snorkeling adventure at Puerto Morelos Reef National Park

5.Snorkeling adventure at Puerto Morelos Reef National Park

★★★★★★★★★★4.0 · 9 reviews · 2 hours (approx.) · from $39.5Best value

Puerto Morelos Reef National Park snorkeling with a small-group boat trip, top gear, and a licensed maritime guide, plus a note on dock tax.

“Overall a so so experience. While the snorkeling guide was nice, the coordinator was unresponsive and rude. For example, we were reprimanded for putting on mineral sunscreen which they explicitly asked us to bring in a "welcome" text message. Meanwhile, they were unresponsive to our questions via text about parking. Lastly, there was a dock fee that the coordinator was quite intense about collecting. It seemed that everything in this limited interaction was fraught. The water was also very choppy. More than half of the people in our boat felt too seasick to snorkel after the first stop and we saw other boats with people staying on them as well.…”

Carlos was so friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He went above and beyond our expectations. We would highly recommend this tour if you are in the Cancún/Playa del Carmen area.”
